Greenway Golf/Corica Park is proud to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month in May! We're committed to supporting our community's well-being and offering resources to help you find balance and return to your center.

This week: Outdoor Art Therapy Session with Simone 

Celebrate creativity with Simone Nia Rae in her Visualization and Absract Art class. She will help you harness your inner artist for mental well-being by teaching you how to use art to reflect and relax, while healing stress, anxiety, and depression. Art supplies provided-come create!

More about Simone: 

Simone Nia Rae is a visual, abstract artist. She is a certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach and also holds an internationally accredited certificate in art therapy. 

She shares, "I understand the value of creativity in a persons life and how it can shape the way we reflect, relax, function, our emotions and healing things like stress, anxiety, and depression. Healing through artistic expression supports you in managing your emotions, I believe. Being creative allows a person to explore themselves non verbally and even communicate. I believe that  visualization allows you to reflect and doing art allows for that brain time. Healing through art is organic and is something that has been happening since the beginning of human life and this is why I do it."
